Effective Communication (UK training)

Course aimed at: Course time:
Managers and Trainers 3 full days
Purpose of the course:

It doesnt matter how good an organisations ideas, how innovative the practices – if ideas are not communicated effectively then they are pointless. NOTE THE WORD EFFECTIVE

Communication is pivotal to everything we do in life and there are many ways in which we communicate in todays society to include: Email /  text / fax / letter / verbal / body language / telephone / face to face / pictorially / signing / via interpreters / skype / webcam / through music /through dance /through poetry etc

The consequences of poor and ineffective communication in our private lives can mean failed relationships or misunderstandings which can be unpleasant. BUT the consequences of poor and ineffective communication in a Health or Social Care setting can compromise privacy, dignity, safety to name just a few and at its most severe poor communication really can translate to being a matter of life or death.

This course encourages managers to ask themselves ‘How effective is our organisations communication?’ AND  ‘How do we evaluate the effectiveness?’
